Description

A vibrant Teriyaki Glazed Salmon Rice Bowl featuring tender salmon, fluffy jasmine rice, and a colorful array of vegetables, all coated in a luscious teriyaki glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions until fluffy. Fluff it gently with a fork for the best texture.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and cornstarch in a small mixing bowl to create the teriyaki sauce.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and opaque.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the salmon fillets in the final minute of cooking, allowing it to bubble and coat them.
  5. Stir-fry mixed vegetables in a separate pan until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve in bowls with a scoop of jasmine rice topped with the glazed salmon and stir-fried vegetables.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes
