Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and parmesan, draped in a rich creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the spinach until wilted, approximately 2 minutes.
  5. Mix in the parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cut a pocket in each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  7. Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach and cheese mixture.
  8. Place them in a baking dish.
  9. Pour the heavy cream over the stuffed chicken.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  11. Serve warm, garnished with extra parmesan and herbs if desired.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked safely. You can prepare the stuffing in advance and keep it refrigerated.
