Description

Delicious burritos filled with tender chicken, melted cheese, and smothered in rich green chile sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 can (10 oz) green chile sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the shredded chicken, cheese, onions, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spoon a portion of the mixture onto each tortilla and roll them up tightly.
  4. Place the burritos seam-side down in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Combine the green chile sauce and sour cream in another bowl, then pour it over the burritos.
  6. Sprinkle additional cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until heated through and the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro or jalapeños if desired.
