Description

A comforting and versatile dish that layers tender ravioli with hearty meat sauce and gooey cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 Package of Ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 2 Cups Marinara Sauce
  • 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Olive Oil for Cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking apart as it cooks until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Layer half of the ravioli at the bottom of a baking dish. Spread half of the meat sauce over the ravioli, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the top with grated Parmesan.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the lasagna ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking. Adjust baking time if starting from cold.
