Description

Delightful Oreo Cupcakes made with chocolate cake mix and topped with fluffy whipped cream frosting and whole Oreo cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whole Oreo cookies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your cupcake pan with vibrant paper liners.
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl, blending with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  3. Fold in the crushed Oreos gently into the batter.
  4. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cupcakes in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract while whipping to stiff peaks.
  8. Frost the cooled cupcakes with whipped cream and top with a whole Oreo cookie.
