- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 8 Corn or flour tortillas
- Toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, creamy avocado, shredded cheese, sour cream
Instructions
- Combine chopped cilantro, fresh lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk until blended.
- Place the chicken breasts in the marinade, coating them thoroughly. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
- Warm the tortillas on the grill for a few seconds on each side.
- Assemble your tacos by placing sliced chicken onto a tortilla and adding your favorite toppings.
