Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 8 Corn or flour tortillas
  • Toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, creamy avocado, shredded cheese, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped cilantro, fresh lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk until blended.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the marinade, coating them thoroughly. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Warm the tortillas on the grill for a few seconds on each side.
  7. Assemble your tacos by placing sliced chicken onto a tortilla and adding your favorite toppings.

Notes
