Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas, frozen
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, chicken broth, carrots, peas, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.

  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
