Description

Delicious cheesy taco sticks with a crispy exterior filled with seasoned meat and melted cheese, perfect for gatherings or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Sour cream for serving
  • Salsa for serving
  • Guacamole for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat if necessary, then add taco seasoning and mix thoroughly.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into rectangles (4 inches by 6 inches).
  5. Place a spoonful of seasoned meat and a sprinkle of cheese on each rectangle.
  6. Roll up the dough around the filling, pressing the seams firmly to seal.
  7. Place the taco sticks on a lined baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole on the side.

Notes

You can prepare the filling a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Use an air fryer for a lighter option at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
