Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 pound mozzarella cheese sticks
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  2. Dip each mozzarella stick in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Freeze the breaded mozzarella sticks for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
