Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well incorporated.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter-sugar combo, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  6. Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  7. Drop a tablespoon of cookie dough onto the baking sheets, leaving space between each one.
  8. Make a small indentation in the center of each cookie, then fill it with cream cheese filling.
  9. Top with another small spoonful of cookie dough to enclose the filling.
