Ingredients
- Crusty Bread (ciabatta or sourdough)
- Goat Cheese
- Fresh Blueberries
- Fresh Basil
- Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your panini press or skillet over medium heat.
- Slice the bread into thick pieces, about 1 inch.
- Spread a generous layer of goat cheese on one side of each slice of bread.
- Distribute fresh blueberries over half of the slices and press down lightly.
- Sprinkle chopped basil over the blueberries.
- Cover with the remaining slices of bread, cheese side down.
- Brush the exterior of each sandwich with olive oil.
- Grill in the press for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Let the panini cool for a minute before slicing diagonally.
