A classic dessert that combines creamy banana-infused pudding with crispy vanilla wafers for a nostalgic treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sliced bananas
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 package (11 ounces) vanilla wafers
  • 1/4 cup crushed vanilla wafers (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth—about 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract and gently fold in the whipped cream.
  3. Layer half of the vanilla wafers and half of the sliced bananas in the pie dish.
  4. Spread half of the creamy pudding mixture over the bananas.
  5. Repeat the layering process with the remaining wafers, bananas, and pudding.
  6. Sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until fully set.

Notes

This pie is best prepared ahead of time, as the flavors meld beautifully overnight.
