- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar

- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- Butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Cut the French bread into 1-inch cubes and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Pour the custard over the bread cubes, pressing down gently.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top and cover with foil; refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
- Heat the maple syrup in a saucepan with remaining pecans until warm.
