- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 10 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: BBQ sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the jalapeños by slicing them in half lengthwise and removing the seeds.
- Mix the filling by combining cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Stuff each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
- Arrange the poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbling.
- Garnish with BBQ sauce before serving and enjoy!
Notes
For milder flavors, remove all seeds from the jalapeños. You can also prepare these ahead and refrigerate before baking.
