Description

Deliciously crispy bacon envelops spicy jalapeños, stuffed with creamy cheese for a mouthwatering appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: BBQ sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the jalapeños by slicing them in half lengthwise and removing the seeds.
  3. Mix the filling by combining cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Arrange the poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Garnish with BBQ sauce before serving and enjoy!

Notes

For milder flavors, remove all seeds from the jalapeños. You can also prepare these ahead and refrigerate before baking.
