A delicious and rustic Autumn Fruit Galette featuring a delightful combination of apples, pears, and cranberries, perfect for fall gatherings.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 6–8 tablespoons ice water
- 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 medium pears, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in ice water, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture forms a ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine apples, pears, cranberries, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a circle about 12 inches in diameter.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the fruit mixture in the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the fruit, pleating as necessary.
- Brush the dough with beaten egg.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
- Can be made with other seasonal fruits as well.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
