- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can of strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving with fresh strawberries on top.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a butter cake mix instead of yellow cake mix.
- Serve with whipped cream for added indulgence.
