- 8 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 8 rice paper wrappers
- 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little vegetable oil. Stir-fry the marinated beef until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft, about 10 seconds.
- Place a few basil leaves, a small amount of cooked vermicelli noodles, and a portion of the beef on the rice paper.
- Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling and roll tightly to form a roll.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.
