Description

Thai Basil Beef Rolls are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender beef with aromatic Thai basil, wrapped in rice paper for a fresh and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 8 rice paper wrappers
  • 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little vegetable oil. Stir-fry the marinated beef until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft, about 10 seconds.
  4. Place a few basil leaves, a small amount of cooked vermicelli noodles, and a portion of the beef on the rice paper.
  5. Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling and roll tightly to form a roll.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute beef with tofu or mushrooms.
