Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the date syrup, melted coconut oil, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
