Ingredients

- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of whipped topping
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup of lemon-lime soda
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions using water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- Bake the cake in a 9×13 inch pan for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
- Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the top of the cake.
- In a bowl, mix the lemonade concentrate and powdered sugar, then pour it over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
- Before serving, top the cake with whipped topping and fresh strawberries.
- Drizzle with lemon-lime soda for added fizz and flavor.
Notes
- For a stronger lemon flavor, add more lemonade concentrate.
- Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
