Description
A refreshing and tangy sorbet made with sour cherries and yuzu, perfect for a hot day.
Ingredients

- 2 cups sour cherries, pitted
- 1 cup yuzu juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the sour cherries and cook for about 5 minutes until they soften.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Blend the cherry mixture with yuzu juice and lemon juice until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, churn the mixture in an ice cream maker before freezing.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your taste.
- Yuzu can be substituted with lemon or lime juice if unavailable.
