- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and cream cheese until well blended.
- Add the flour, diced jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the cheese mixture and stir until fully combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, use more jalapeños or add some cayenne pepper.
- These squares can be served warm or at room temperature.
