Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Pepper Jack)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into 4-inch squares.
  3. Whisk together the eggs in a mixing bowl until frothy. Stir in the crumbled sausage and shredded cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the sausage mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and seal the edges tightly.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a glossy finish.
