Reuben Balls are a delicious twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, featuring corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, all rolled into bite-sized balls and served with a spicy Thousand Island dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and form into small balls.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the Reuben balls until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. For the dipping sauce, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, and relish in a small bowl.
  7. Serve the Reuben balls warm with the spicy Thousand Island dipping sauce.
