Delicious pumpkin apple cinnamon rolls topped with a sweet maple glaze, perfect for fall.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, apple sauce, sugar, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread with additional apple sauce and cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- While the rolls are baking, mix the powdered sugar and maple syrup to create the glaze.
- Once the rolls are done, drizzle the maple glaze over the top and serve warm.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use brown butter in the glaze.
- These rolls can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins for extra texture.
