Description

These Puff Pastry Trees with Burrata & Cranberry Glaze are a delightful combination of flaky, buttery pastry and rich, creamy burrata. The tartness of the cranberry glaze adds a vibrant contrast, creating a sensory experience that is both savory and sweet.

Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry: 1 sheet, thawed
  • Burrata Cheese: 8 oz, drained and torn into pieces
  • Cranberry Glaze: 1 cup cranberry sauce, homemade or store-bought
  • Egg Wash: 1 egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water
  • Fresh Rosemary: 2 sprigs, finely chopped for garnish
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases.
  3. Cut the pastry into tree shapes using a sharp knife or cookie cutter.
  4. Place the tree shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before topping with burrata and cranberry glaze.
  8. Drizzle the cranberry glaze over the burrata and sprinkle with fresh rosemary before serving.
