- Pork Filling:
- 1 lb ground pork

- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp salt

- Cabbage Slaw:
- 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Noodle Base:
- 8 oz rice noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix shredded cabbage, carrots, cilantro, rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil to prepare the slaw. Set aside.
- Cook rice noodles according to package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a simmer over medium heat. Add soy sauce and cooked noodles, stirring to combine.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the pork mixture until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Ensure the pork is no longer pink.
- To serve, place a portion of noodles in a bowl, top with cooked pork, and add a generous helping of cabbage slaw. Enjoy hot!
Notes
- This dish can be made ahead by preparing the pork filling and slaw a day in advance. Store separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator.
