Pizza Enchiladas Ground Beef is a delicious fusion dish that combines the flavors of pizza and enchiladas, featuring seasoned ground beef, cheese, and a zesty sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced bell peppers, onions, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Spread a layer of pizza sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Place a tortilla on a flat surface, add a portion of the beef mixture and some cheese, then roll it up and place it seam-side down in the baking dish.
  6. Repeat with remaining tortillas and beef mixture.
  7. Pour the remaining pizza sauce over the rolled enchiladas and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
