Description
Pickle Fries with Spicy Aioli are a delicious and crunchy snack that combines the tanginess of pickles with a spicy dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- Pickles – 4 large
 - All-purpose flour – 1 cup
 - Cornmeal – 1/2 cup
 - Eggs – 2, beaten
 - Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
 - Salt – 1 tsp
 - Paprika – 1 tsp
 - Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
 - Vegetable oil – for frying
 
Instructions
- Slice the pickles into fry-shaped pieces.
 - In a bowl, mix flour, salt, paprika, and garlic powder.
 - Dip each pickle fry into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
 - Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
 - Fry the pickle fries until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
 - Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
 - For the spicy aioli, mix mayonnaise, hot sauce, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
 - Serve the pickle fries hot with the spicy aioli on the side.
 
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs.
 - Adjust the spiciness of the aioli by adding more or less hot sauce.
 - These can be baked instead of fried for a healthier version.
