- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Arrange the brioche slices in a greased baking dish, overlapping them slightly.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) the next morning.
- Bake the French toast for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until bubbly and golden.
