    • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
    • 1 cup ricotta cheese
    • 1 tsp dried oregano
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1 package of phyllo dough (16 oz), thawed
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Chili Honey:
    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 12 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta, ricotta, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it lightly with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and brush again.
  4. Cut the layered phyllo into strips about 4 inches wide.
  5. Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up, tucking in the sides as you go to seal the filling.
  6. Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with more melted butter and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. While the rolls are baking, prepare the chili honey by heating honey in a small saucepan over low heat and stirring in chili flakes. Remove from heat once combined.
  9. Drizzle the chili honey over the baked feta rolls before serving.
