- 1 lb steak (cubed)
- 1 cup rice (uncooked)
- 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add cubed steak, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in honey BBQ sauce and let cook for 2 more minutes.
- Pour in uncooked rice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir until rice is coated.
- Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Fluff the mixture with a fork and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, let the steak rest before cooking and avoid overcrowding the pan.
