Description

A delicious one-pan meal featuring tender steak, creamy rice, and a sweet honey BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (cubed)
  • 1 cup rice (uncooked)
  • 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add cubed steak, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in honey BBQ sauce and let cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Pour in uncooked rice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir until rice is coated.
  5. Bring to a simmer, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
  6. Fluff the mixture with a fork and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, let the steak rest before cooking and avoid overcrowding the pan.
