Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (12 oz) container whipped topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well mixed.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the lemon juice and lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the lemon filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Slice and serve chilled, garnished with additional lemon zest if desired.
