- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Nashville hot chicken seasoning
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with Nashville hot seasoning.
- Dredge each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more Nashville hot seasoning to the breadcrumbs.
- Make sure the oil is hot enough to prevent the cheese from leaking out.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
