Description

Deliciously spicy and crispy bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks, perfect for a party or game day.


Ingredients

  • 12 mozzarella sticks
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Nashville hot chicken seasoning
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with Nashville hot seasoning.
  3. Dredge each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more Nashville hot seasoning to the breadcrumbs.
  • Make sure the oil is hot enough to prevent the cheese from leaking out.
