Description

This Mediterranean Cheese Log with Olives & Herbs is a creamy, tangy delight that melts in your mouth. The rich texture of the cheese is perfectly complemented by the briny olives and fragrant herbs, creating a burst of flavor with every bite.


Ingredients

  • Cheese: 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Herbs: 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped; 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Olives: 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
  • Seasoning: 1 tsp garlic powder; 1/2 tsp black pepper; 1/2 tsp salt
  • Coating: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped parsley, chopped basil, chopped olives, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Transfer the cheese mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a log.
  4. Wrap the log tightly in the plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  5. Once chilled, remove the log from the wrap and roll it in the chopped nuts until fully coated.
  6. Slice into rounds and serve with crackers or bread.
