- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (for streusel)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, maple syrup, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in the chopped pecans.
- In a separate bowl, mix the ingredients for the streusel topping until crumbly.
- Fill the muffin cups with the batter and sprinkle the streusel on top.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark maple syrup.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
