- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 cup mango puree
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together mango puree, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil to create the teriyaki sauce.
- Marinate the salmon fillets in the teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill or in a baking dish.
- Cook the salmon for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Brush the salmon with additional teriyaki sauce during cooking for extra flavor.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
- Leftover teriyaki sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
