Ingredients

  • 1 cup mango puree
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together mango puree, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil to create the teriyaki sauce.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in the teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill or in a baking dish.
  5. Cook the salmon for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Brush the salmon with additional teriyaki sauce during cooking for extra flavor.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
