A quick and easy recipe for a delicious twist on classic chicken parmesan, served as a grilled cheese sandwich.

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Layer the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

- Feel free to add extra spices or herbs for more flavor.
- Use gluten-free bread for a gluten-free option.
