- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli)
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, and egg. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Once meatballs are cooked, toss them in the BBQ sauce until well coated.
- Serve meatballs over cooked rice and top with mixed vegetables and sesame seeds.

- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- Adjust the level of sweetness in the sauce according to your taste.
