- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli and cauliflower for 3-4 minutes.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked sausage, broccoli, and cauliflower to the cream mixture and stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, use spicy sausage.
- Feel free to add other low-carb vegetables.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
