  • Author: Laura
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

These Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts are a delightful combination of crispy texture and a sweet-spicy flavor explosion. Each bite offers a satisfying crunch, followed by a sticky glaze that balances the heat of Sriracha with the natural sweetness of honey.

Ingredients

  • Brussels Sprouts: 1 pound, trimmed and halved
  • Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Honey: 3 tablespoons
  • Sriracha: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
  5. While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, mix honey and Sriracha in a small bowl until well combined.
  6. Once the Brussels sprouts are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the honey Sriracha mixture over them, tossing to coat.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make-ahead: You can prepare the Brussels sprouts and toss them with oil and seasonings a few hours in advance. Store in the refrigerator until ready to roast.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Substitutions: Maple syrup can be used instead of honey for a vegan option, and chili garlic sauce can replace Sriracha for a different flavor profile.
