Description
Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes are a delightful combination of crispy edges and tender, sweet centers. The caramelization from the honey creates a rich, golden glaze that enhances the natural sweetness of the potatoes, making each bite a perfect balance of flavor and texture.
Ingredients
- Sweet Potatoes: 2 large, peeled and cubed
- Honey: 1/4 cup
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed sweet potatoes, honey, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. Toss until the sweet potatoes are evenly coated.
- Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sweet potatoes are golden brown and tender when pierced with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
