Delicious and healthy cookies made without any added sugar, perfect for guilt-free snacking.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (sugar-free if desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted coconut oil, applesauce, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra texture and flavor.
