Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat (about 375°F).
  3. Cook the marinated chicken for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Once the chicken is done, remove it from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Warm the pita breads in a dry skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  7. Assemble the pitas by placing a generous amount of chicken, followed by lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion.
  8. Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the top and fold the pita in half to serve.
