- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Toast the bread slices in the skillet until golden on one side.
- Flip the bread and place a slice of Swiss cheese on each piece.
- Add the sautéed mushrooms on top of the cheese.
- Cover with another slice of bread, toasted side up.
- Cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, flipping once.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
