- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add broccoli florets and a splash of water, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
