Description

Easter Egg Oreo Balls are a delightful treat that combines the rich, creamy texture of cream cheese with the crunchy, chocolatey goodness of Oreo cookies. Each bite offers a burst of sweetness, perfectly balanced with a hint of vanilla, making them an irresistible addition to your holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • Oreo Cookies: 36 cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
  • Cream Cheese: 8 oz, softened
  • White Chocolate: 12 oz, melted
  • Food Coloring: 2-3 drops (optional, for coloring the chocolate)
  • Sprinkles: 1/2 cup (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and softened cream cheese until well blended.
  2. Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. While the balls are chilling, melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  5. If desired, add food coloring to the melted chocolate and mix until evenly colored.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and return them to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle the tops with colorful sprinkles for decoration.
  8. Refrigerate the finished Oreo balls for at least 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
