Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and gelatin over low heat, stirring until dissolved.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the birdseed and dried fruits together.
  3. Pour the gelatin mixture into the birdseed mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Grease the inside of the plastic Easter eggs with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Pack the birdseed mixture tightly into each half of the Easter egg.
  6. Press the two halves together and let them sit for 1 hour to set.
  7. Once set, gently remove the eggs from the mold and hang them in your garden using twine or string.
