A rich and decadent dessert combining dark chocolate and orange flavors in a light mousse cake.
Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 orange (zest and juice)
- 200ml heavy cream
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until pale and fluffy.
- Stir in the melted chocolate mixture and orange zest and juice.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set but still slightly wobbly in the center.
- Let cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
- Serve chilled, garnished with orange slices or chocolate shavings.
