Ingredients

  • Chicken: 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

  • Soup Base: 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • Broth: 2 cups chicken broth
  • Seasonings: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp dried thyme, salt and pepper to taste
  • Topping: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
