Description

Cotton Candy Fudge is a delightful treat that melts in your mouth, offering a creamy texture with a burst of sweet, nostalgic flavors reminiscent of summer fairs. Each bite is a whimsical experience, combining the sugary essence of cotton candy with the rich creaminess of fudge, making it a perfect indulgence for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Base:
    • 2 cups white chocolate chips
    • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Flavoring:
    • 1 teaspoon cotton candy flavoring
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Coloring:
    • 12 drops blue food coloring
    • 12 drops pink food coloring
  • Toppings:
    • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
    • 1/4 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and fully combined (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the cotton candy flavoring and salt until well incorporated.
  4. Divide the mixture in half and add blue food coloring to one half and pink food coloring to the other, mixing until the colors are vibrant.
  5. Layer the blue fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it out evenly.
  6. Carefully spoon the pink fudge mixture on top of the blue layer, spreading it gently to avoid mixing the colors.
  7. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and sprinkles on top for added texture and decoration.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm to the touch.
  9. Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.

Notes

  • This fudge can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • For a different flavor, try using different extracts like vanilla or strawberry instead of cotton candy.
  • If you prefer a softer fudge, reduce the refrigeration time to 1 hour.
